:rotflmao:

Yeah he is going to channel great past presidents for policy decisions.

"Let's see, you once had a president. there was an "r" in his name. He says...."

:D

On a sidenote the NY Post had its front page almost full page saying it was Gephardt. Crack reporting there...or is it reporting while on crack?

You know, I SWORE that's what I saw in the corner deli this morning while getting my coffe. Then I heard it was Edwards on the radio. I guess Rush is right when he said you can put anyone on the ballot, it doesn't matter. :D

Just replying to the posts. Notice not one started by me. Yet I am a troll for flipping the coin over. Bush is such an easy target, being an idiot and all.

Jimmy you do go overboard on it. There are good things that Bush does as well as bad.

Same as the previous administration.

You may say Bush is stupid but frankly I don't believe it. You can lambast all the political rhetoric you want on it but he was smart enough to get elected president.

I'll definitely agree he is not the greatest public speaker but that means little to me. Reagen was a GREAT speech maker but not so hot as a president. Just like Slick Willy.

Once again I will toss this out in to the ring. There's enough bad shit out there on everyone you don't have to make things up or stoop to calling people stupid. It denigrates you and your position.

Just ask Keekanoo. I did that to him and he had a very good point when he pointed it out to me.

Look at your sigs there Jimmy. When people see things like that it screams I hate Bush in every way possible and will denigrate him in every way possible. It takes away from any real point you are attempting to make.

Tue Jul 06, 2004 4:31 pm

My sig shows just how stupid he is. I am sorry, but he is just stupid. How do you say: "Do you have blacks, too?" to the Brazilian President and not make this country look bad? he is a court jester, jumping aroudn making an ass of himself AND this country.

My signature was changed to this when all of the posts about WMD being found and liberals can go to hell type posts started on almost a daily basis a few weeks ago(you started a few yourself). I got so sick and tired of the Bush is the Best Thumpers starting all of these BS-posts I decided to add what Bush is really like to my signature: a stupid redneck hick.

I do nto care if you do not like what is in my signature, what is in there is that idiot we have for a President. You can love him all you like, I do nto care, he is ruining this country, he has pissed and shit all over our most sacred ideals, and he has made our country look stupid to the rest of the world.

You want to start these little posts, expect someone to flip the coin.

Tue Jul 06, 2004 4:44 pm

Jimmy calm down.

I don't love Bush and I haven't said he is always right. I merely pointed out how you cheapen your arguments with hate filled vitriol like that. In fact I have noticed when I start Bush bashing threads you never seem to comment on them.

I have posted in support of mainly Iraq and our national policy on the war on terror but thats because I believe in it.

And sorry but I have a hard time believing in your little "Bushisms" I heard plenty of words put into Slick Willy's mouth and didn't believe them either. But I did look at the persons saying them and realize they were closed minded and truth or not they wouldn't be swayed.

You can make arguments about presidents looking like idiots for virtually every president. You like to think Bush lied about WMD's. We KNOW Clinton lied UNDER OATH!

A it doesn't seem to bother most liberals that conservatives think that act embarassed us in front of the world or" has pissed and shit all over our most sacred ideals."

Just putting this out there...

As a North Carolinian I can tell you that Edwards goal since he was elected in 98
was to run for President. He has passed no legislation that benefitted us, although he showed a lot of interest in New Hampshire, Iowa and other early primary states. He didn't even come back here when half the state was a disaster area after hurricanes and flooding, although every Representative and Senator Dole did. I don't think he can be counted on, and he certainly does not have the credentials to potentially lead this country during a time of War. Oh well, just my $.02
I'm going to go out and work to make sure he doesn't win his 'home' state. :)

Tue Jul 06, 2004 7:30 pm

Well at least Edward's will bring some life and excitement to long-face Kerry's campaign. Argh, it's hard to listen to a Kerry speech without falling asleep.

Tue Jul 06, 2004 8:00 pm

So, the "quote" (to quote a quote) in tango's sig looks like it is just more Liberalcrat progaganda. And the good little Liberalcrat Jimmy repeats it, because we all know that ANYTHING printed in the newspaper or on the Internet by some unknown left wing liberal nut conspiracy-theorist just HAS to be true. Do you know, little Jimmy, that re-quoting that quote that is 95% likely to be false can probably be held against you as Libel, since you don't quote the source?

Tue Jul 06, 2004 8:36 pm

This whole Neocon, liberalcrat, etc name calling is the biggest load of sh*t to come down the pipe, seriously. Most people are only slightly left or right of center, very slightly. Most Republicans aren't rich racist, homophobic people, most democrats aren't anti-American, communist sympathizer pacifists. Way on the left and right fringe, those people exist, and they tend to make a lot more noise than the other 99% (normal) population. Fair enough?

But the screwed up thing is when we perceive of 'them' to be the radical kind when they aren't. To counter our perception of them, we become a ridiculous cartoon image temporarily. Soon enough, Jimmy Tango has a bunch a rhetoric in his sig, and Face is calling him a liberalcrat. Something tells me Jimmy Tango does NOT burn US flags and worship Lenin, and Face probably isn't a nazi militant ready to kill a commie for mommy!
So, why the hell are we playing these cartoon roles, providing each other with a political boogeyman?
It's like watching a cat hiss and bristle at it's reflection in a mirror.
sorry for the long post.
SERENITY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
