Travel With Arabs? Terrorists With Airplanes?

Read the following link. Its long but its pretty scary and this happened just last month. You'll no doubt have your own take on the story but it scares the crap out of me.

Building bombs mid-flight. What will they think of next? Just a continous cycle of violence. Only way to stop it is to "profile" people who would do it. and 90% of them would be arabian so why can't we profile them? :\

But getting to the issue here - that would be pretty scary if I was on the flight. ut hey - we all die someday, could be tomorrow, could be 10, 20, 50 years from now. We all have a 100% mortality rate so I say we do all we can to prevent unnecessary death but keep in mind that violence will never stop.

It reminds me a little of the dry run that 9/11 hijackers took weeks earlier. James Woods (the actor) noticed the strange behavior between the men (one of them was Atta) and actually called the FBI afterwood.

These laws against profiling are ridiculous. If it is obvious one group of people are consistantly performing acts of terrorism (or criminal activity, whatever) doesn't it make sense to profile them with respect to other's lives?

What do you think of this? If there was an airline created that advertised maximum security and major profiling on all it's flights (and was allowed to do so) would you pay a few extra dollars to fly on it? I know I would.

I don't think that I would. Racism is racism if you ask me and I am not saying that special precautions need to be taken with all passengers in today's world, but frankly there are lots of whackos out there of every colour...

This is true Tommy, but I don't think most American's would expect a bunch of white, punk rock looking guys to hijack a plane. They would probably be more concerned if those white guys were middle eastern.

Holy shit, If I decide to fly in a plane again, I'm gonna talk to every male on the plane and say listen, if shit goes, down I want you to have my back, And I will only do this if I see arabs are going to be flying with us. And If I was on that plane and these sons of bitches were doing this, I would have got up, went to the bathroom after each one came out.

EDIT

and I also would have asked other males on the plane to just use the bathrooms and make sure no shit is being put in them, well, except in the bowl of course. : )
