I've been a Dolphin fan since birth.

Glad to see he feels free, now he can go and smoke as much pot as he wants, without the hassle of those pesky drug tests.

I dont get these guys, you only have so many years before you are forced out of the league, by age and declinning talent or by injury, to leave before that just seems to be a waste.

very cold of him to wait until now to do this

Well RBs have always quit in their prime, you guys all rag on him, when he goes out there and does the dirty work and pound the ball. Its not fun having to worry every day you play that you could blow a knee or shatter an elbow. It's not like playing WR or QB where your not getting 25 touches running right through the defense. Jim Brown, Smith (Vikings), Barry Sanders (only 1500yards from the career rushing record) quit in his prime.

As for the marijuanna stuff, he told reoprters he took a liquid that most NFL players use to hide it from the drug tests, and the only one he failed (2002) was because he forgot to take it.

I am a diehard Bills fan. There are many hard memories from the Bills. Losing 4 straight, Scott Norwood wide right, etc. As much as I hate the dolphins, that was the last thing I expected to happen.

Who's ragging? Just dont get it, and as far as the pounding goes, ask the O-line who does the dirty work. These guys dont get any of the glory, and not even half the cash.

I guess if your hearts not in it anymore, nothin anyone can do.

Ricky Williams is a flake. Remember him in his rookie year, conducting interviews with his helmet on??

One less retard in the daily papers as far as I'm concerned.

I can't wait until his insatiable need for attention brings him back from retirement within a year.

This has to be terrible for Dolphin fans :(

I've been a R.Williams fan since his days at University of Texas(I was raised on Texas football:)) where he established himself as one of the greatest college running backs and won the Heismen Trophy. He was a cool guy until his rookie year in the NFL where he developed a personality disorder and clearly felt the pressure of high expectations. What bad timing for the Dolphins, they could have had a shot at Eddie George. Now their stuck with Sammy Morris and Travis Minor.:help:

Sun Jul 25, 2004 3:09 pm

with the right team williams could've been unstopable. Now we're only left to wonder about him. I hate to be the person who has him in my keeper league

Eddie George is worthless. He'll succeed less in Dallas than he did in Tennessee.

I'm convinced that God hates the Dolphins and their fans. There are other teams that seem to be worse off, but somehow God finds a way too screw around with Dolphin fans.
