Actually I've had a beta install of DX9c for about a month now.

I installed this earlier today. It's always good to keep your PC updated, though I don't think version C has any performance increases over version B.

9.0c has support for sm 3.0. Now all i have to do is wait for nvidia to release official drivers that support it. As of right now the only way to get it to work is by modding drivers.

3.0 support

PS. We know about beta shellshock. This is not beta.

PS 3.0 for Nvidia cards (NV40).
PS 2.0b for ATi cards (R420).

But u can use the Object Instancing with all DirectX9 ATi cards and u can force PS 3.0 on a GeForce FX5xxx in Far Cry, that's awesome.
