Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

I can't believe they didn't have a plan to help the guy like tranquilizers or something. Also, the guy blamed it on adolescent hormones. Hmmm... maybe you shouldn't use adolescent whales then?

That trainer was lucky. The whale was playing. If it were serious, it would have opened its jaws. *shiver*
I have sort of a fear/fascination with things that live in the water and can eat me. I thank Peter Benchley and Steven Spielburg for that one.

the whale meant no harm for sure.

That site doesn't work. Says this:
To run MSN Video, you need to install some software. Click each link below and follow the instructions. When you're done, click Start MSN Video.
Strangely, this link "Learn more about these required programs" doesn't work at all. Scary.
There's a button to install IE6. They should make a site that works instead of a broken one that requires proprietary software. Typical Microsoft.

To be honest it seemed to me as if the whale was intentionally trying to drowned him. He was doing a fairly good job at it.

Oh, I thought this was going to be a mama joke.

That trainer did a darn good job of bull fighting there...when whales attack... doesnt happen often, but it is intense to watch.

I'm glad it didn't happen, but imagine if the whale actually did open its mouth and carnage ensued... all those kids in the audience would be messed up for life. I wonder what they do to the whale to make it that tame. I saw on the Discovery channel that these killer whales will actually play with sea lions or otters or whatever by grabbing them in their mouth and tossing them into the air repeatedly just for fun.

Yes, I read more and it was definitley playing and not trying to drown. The point they made was, if it truly wanted to do harm it could have in a blink of an eye.

Ughhh I'd go crazy listening to that music too.
Has anyone seen that footage of a whale grabbing this ladies leg and pulling her way down under the ocean. Now that creeped me out.
I too fear the ocean and always think something is gonna get me when I'm swimming. If anything touches my legs I spaz out and make a B line for shore. Luckily I've only been attacked by Jelly Fish so far, but even that is not a lauging matter.

If I can't see the bottom, I ain't stepping in to it.

How bout this, leave the f-in whales in the ocean were they belong.

wow that guy did a pretty good job of dodging that whale.
