TY i didnt know this either, its always the nikel and dime garbage that you cant figure out. Heres my best, when i firts got a real color comp in '95 (Micron 100mhz Intel, 1 gig, i dont remember the RAM someone guess like 56 or somehting maybe this thing was top of the line 14k modem i think) i would write "reports" for school and i would go into the text and try to edit but the new stuff i would write would write over the stuff i didnt want to delete, i had no idea wat was happeneing, i write eveyrhting down delete it all and retype it, then i found out years later about the insert, ro scroll lock jobby wat ever it was, man was i pissed, all that extra typing, and all i had to do was hit a button.

Yea that happened with me as well , wen eva i wrote soemthing it deleted the other stuff i didnt want to delete and i had to write everything all over again....annoying!

I still dont know ho to fix it...can you elaborate the insert, or scroll lock jobby what ever it was?

do you mean cut and paste?

Thu Aug 26, 2004 8:13 am

The problem was if i had to edit some text from before, it would write over the text i didnt want to delete so you have to write the text all over again...i still dont know how to fix it?
