from official site and developer:
The Problem with 100% CPU usage is caused by a conflict with CTHelper.exe. This is a plugin manager for your Soundblaster sound card. CTHelper.exe has been a problem in the past with other software that I have supported, so in my own personal opinion, it is not a very robust piece of software.
I would suggest running "msconfig" in windows (only works in 9x and XP), and then on the last tab, uncheck the box next to CTHelper, and things should be fine. We are going to fix this in the next update (we bought an Audigy 2 recently to reproduce the problem), but the soonest you would see a fix is Thursday September 2.
BTW, this post really belongs in the Tech Support Forum, as we don't normally look for tech issues here in the general forum.
Hope this helps,
-BAZMAN-
