Finally saw kill bill

I have to say that it is a refreshing change of pace compared to most hollywood blockbusters. It has the over-the-top blood and wicked action sequences that make you beg for more. I'm ready for KB2!

Don't get your hopes up, the second one was paced like a funeral march.

I still have yet to see it. Sounds good

I thought it was still a good movie though. Watch the first for action, watch the second for story.

Sums it up pretty much, I think.

Yeah...body count in #2 is about 1/100 of the first one. Both are fun movies though.

Bill : You hocked a Hattori Hanzo Sword?
Budd : Yep.
Bill : It was priceless.
Budd : Well, not in El Paso, it ain't. In El Paso I got me $250 for it.

:)

Who's got the uncut version of KB Vol. 1 on DVD? (The uncut version meaning the House of Tea scene is in full color, no shift to black and white. Plus 3 minutes of new scenes. :) )

*raises hand*

I do I do I do!

I prefered Kill Bill 2 honestly. First one was great, don't get me wrong. It was sunday afternoon 'Black belt theatre' all over again, but the second had the flair that made it a true throwback to old martial arts films. Especially the parts with her martial arts training and her sensei.

The second one explained everything we needed to know. That and the acting was superb. David Carradine was great in it. I wouldn't be surprised if it did the same for him what Tarantino did for John Travolta in Pulp Fiction. They will supposedly be working on another eventually staring Vivica Fox's daughter looking for revenge.

Just saw kill bill 2...

My summary:

It's long, drawn out, and lacks the action sequences of the first one.

EDIT:

What are some good video games that have "kick ass kung-fu" in them?

One word: Storyline.

That was the point of the second one, Tarantino's style known for drawn out detailed dialogue. :)
