Sucks for them, though the crash site looked like a real jet had just slammed into the ground.

That was cool looking! I think you're right, it could've carried a small child! 
It would've really been cool to fill the bomb bay with water balloons or something and have it drop them like bombs.

What was a real cool little detail was the plane had actual working spoilers upon touching down
