Shot in and around my hometown of Toronto, it was odd seeing the city... the big showdown at the end, that's our new city hall... Neat eh?

At night though, there's a lot of homeless people sleeping in front of it, I bet ya they got cast in the movie as extras and probably paid with a lot of food that they can survive on, maybe even little bits of money from Hollywood.

I know there's a lot of homeless people who take shelter there because I use to volunteer down there by talking/greeting them and giving out food/water in the summer months.
The big paired buildings at the end where so and so breaks out, those are actually huge warehouse type complexes where trade shows are held, it is on the grounds of what is known as the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition).
Add smoke for effect, tint the film a little and you have Racoon City...
Great movie, better than the first one, token black guy is hilarious and he actually lives! (For once!)
Some movie trivia for you:
Zombie scenes at night were shot near the University of Toronto's downtown residence, so students saw movie sets outside their windows and a bunch of zombie extras walking around, late at night!...hahaha imagine that..
Edit:
Jill Valentine was totally hot, she can bite me all night long!
