I respect Oprah, honestly. She has lots of money and she spreads it around. Kinda kewl if you ask me. Even though Pontiac gave the cars away.

I agree with Inmate...I never watch her show and she seems to be everywhere, but at least she is someone with wealth and fame who actually does something for those less fortunate...and holy crap she has a ton of dough!

ya my sister's neighbor was at the show, not sure how she is like in dire straits cuz their house is bigger than mine but ya it certainly made waves. Everyone here at work was talking about it, course I live in the Chicago area so most of the people were from around here.

Oprah didn't spend a single dime on those cars.
RTFA.. (thats .. Read the F'ing Article)
The cars, which retail for $28,000, were donated by Pontiac.

either way, she could have bought the cars for her guests. I think oprah gives a lot out because she started out with nothing and ended up a billionaire. Isnt it funny how life works out.

if Oprah continue doing this, she become some kind of saint. I saw the last Christmas-episode, and the audience just got nuts.
I recpect her a lot though.
