NFL Week Four Thread

Well, the Patriots looked kinda crappy against the Bills, but good ole Bledsoe did what he does best: cough it up right at the end and wreck any chances his team has of winning.
Hopefully, the Patriots will get their act together before too long, because that level of play isn't going to beat too many teams.

Starting to see separation between good teams and bad teams.

The Dolphins look very, very bad. Ricky ruined their whole season. :violin:

Bills suck... :(

Bledsoe doesn't deserve a dime

well.....cowboys didnt play, so i cant really say much. I have to agree with sandstorm though, lot of seperation between good teams and the bad ones. How about those Falcons though!!

Mon Oct 04, 2004 6:14 pm

Man those Falcons kick ass. Good thing I got them as a late round sleeper in fantasy football :)

Mon Oct 04, 2004 6:15 pm

After tonight's game I'll probably be 4-0 in my fantasy league. w00t w00t!

Mon Oct 04, 2004 6:20 pm

I have no one playing monday night and either does my opponent so I will be 3-1. The only game I lost was by 2.9 points. The final score was 324.10 to 327.00 (my league has a custom points system). I was so pissed. Just think of it this way: a sack is -3.00 so if one of my QB's would have been sacked 1 less time, I would have won by .10 :(

McNabb to T.O.= NFC Champions

Mon Oct 04, 2004 6:29 pm

Sabres, you play fantasy football?

Ricky wasn't the only reason. That team had tons of problems going into the off season.

Check Wannsted's history with QB's while in Chicago, The only offseason aquisitionof any note was another teams backup QB to muddle up the QB situation. Boston blowing out his knee had nothing to do with Ricky either. Nope, Ricky was a part of it but that team was going downhill bigtime long before Ricky retired.

How about that Brett Favre? Can't even stand steady after getting his egg scrambled, runs out onto the field, and chucks one for a TD when he shouldn't have even been out there. A better QB WITH a concussion than a lot of them are without.

As a Vikings fan I will be happy when he does retire. Green Bay will slip into mediocrity without him.

The rest of the NFC North appreciates the fact that Sherman wants to change the team into a run first offense. I mean look how bad Favre looked when they had to air it out in Indy. Yeah don't let the game depend on one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game! Recievers dropping balls. RB fumbling, No secondary... that team is nothing without him.

McNabb and T.O. are the backbone of my fantasy team. Thanks to them I've been beating up on all the kids.

woot!

Yeah I agree Ingus that Ricky isn't the only reason they are bad but he is a HUGE reason. Without a running game your going nowhere in the NFL and without that running game their sorry QB's are badly exposed. Along with your top two recievers injured + head coach on the hot seat = doomed season.

Your Vikes are coming down here to Houston this Sunday. Don't think it's gonna be a easy road win, we've defeated the Chiefs on the road and Raiders yesterday. :D
