The House on Thursday passed the second bill in three days that would outlaw "spyware," irritating software that quietly monitors the activities of Internet users.

No, they'll just get more evasive.

I do agree that this will hopefully be the right step towards making crap like this illegal, and if not completely gone, then at least greatly reduced!

You don't even know how happy this thread makes me. I can't seem to get rid of any of those friggen ads unless my firewall is on and sometimes I still get ads. Not to mention while I'm playing RTCW they seem to pop up outta nowhere.
Those damn companies should get the electric chair, lol.
Okay, maybe not that serious but something similar.:lol:
