so stop.

Or if you are hell bent on Explorer, use the Google toolbar with popup stopper. http://toolbar.google.com/

also. Go to http://www.download.com and search for spybot. Download the search and destroy program and use it every week or so. It gets rid of spyware and alot of programs that create popups.

You still need a blocker as well, but spybot is another necessity imo.

Try out firefox with AddBlock. Not only can you stop popups, but you can even erase banner adds:)

http://www.panicware.com

EDIT: Doc, can you fit anything else into your sig? Takes up 3/4 of my screen.

Remove MSMessenger from Add/Remove windows components in Control Panel, download SP2 (where IE has a built in Pop Up Blocker) and use Firefox as either a secondary or primary browser.

I get zero popups without the need for any additional payware popup killers.

They are a waste of money IMO.
