That was all I was thinking reading that thread. If they were doing such and incredible job how come they hit a great big mountain? If the mountain were smaller then at least it would have been harder to hit .

It's not the cold war anymore. Who do you think is out looking for all you subs? Also if said parties exist (and I'm not at all convinced they do btw) don't you think they'd hear a crash easier than the pinging to avoid said crash?
