ive noticed that with almost every movie out there, (possibly excluding star wars and the matrix(not as in star wars i and ii)) sequals typically suck

Especially when the first was garbage to begin with. I.E. Blair Witch project, and the second one?

the ring was one of the best horror movies ever made. it's true, you can only watch it once- but all good horror movies are like that.

I would ahve to say that Aliens was better than Alien. The rest of the series sucks balls though.

I have never been able to stay awake through all of Blaire Witch, and I never watched teh ring. heard nothing good about it by the horror fans I know.

Sounds dreadfully fantastic. I love horror movies....even when they're bad they're still good.

typical of horror movies; scary as hell the first time, funny as such afterwards... I have only seen Dawn of the Dead (new one) once, and have yet to figure out if it was hilarious or scary.. if it was supposed to be funny, it was the funniest shit I've ever seen, if it was supposed to be scary, then it was quite so. oh well.

Watch the original japanese ring, that's a scary motherfucker. I haven't seen the american 'cover' version but I hear it's not a patch on the original. The length you guys will go to not have to read subtitles...
