this soldier takes a shot in the chest but gets up and lives. just makes you think of the danger in that country, with snipers hiding on every corner chanting "allah hu akbar" (god is great)

I hate when they chant allsh akbar as they are kiling people, that is so hypocritical of the purpose of a god, whichever one you worship. Maybe thiers promotes death i guess.
Hopefully those scum who did this are now dead and chanting allah akbar right to akbar's face.

That is crazy. Must have felt like a hammer hit him in the chest. And he still did a quick scan befor tajking cove. One tough cookie. I was hopeing he would have looked to the right a little more. Scary not only for the soilders but what if a civilan drove by at the wrong time. Like I said crazy.

Kevlar plates are standard in both front and back since somalia. In somalia the rangers had no back plates issued...

I am glad to see the guy was alright. I was woundering if the sniper might have got more shots off or if they found him fast. 75yards away I guess it didn't take long to find them.
