Impossible to affect EVERY Windows 2000 machine.

well maybe every machine that wasn't behind a firewall the machine infected was the DMZ host on my network. I will be taking additional measures to keep this from happening again, even though that may be impossible as long as I still use M$

I was just relaying CNN's message, of course any computer not connected to the internet wouldn't get it, and quite a few that are would get by....but quite a lot of computers apparently got hit.

All our 2k servers in our production and test bed environments for my work were not affected.

( *THANK GOD* ) :rotflmao:

According to many reports, the bug really hasn't spread all that much. Other worms before it have done more damage and spread to more PC's.

Glad I'm running XP Pro :)

Many people use 2000 for work, like I do. We have three machines running 2000.

What they dont tell you is that the bug was released and spread by microsoft to force people to upgrade...
