looking at a 19 monitor

i currently have a 17 saw this monitor at best buy it is a 19 crt for only 79 $ Warranty Terms - Parts 1 year limited

a have a Sceptre X9..19inch flat that I got from sams last xmas and it is freakin awesome....look up the numbers for my monitor, if they compare to that one then you are good

I have a 21'' LG flat. I'd get a 21'' if I were you, but I'm so used to large screens so yeah.

Willy...

The refresh rate might be an issue near your max resolution on that monitor... I like to play at 85hz minimum to keep it easy on the eyes....

On lower resolutions though it can handle the refresh though... you may want to lookup the exact stats and see what it can handle at 1280x1024 for instance....

I use a Viewsonic Professional Series P225FB and can recommend it without reservation.... they have 3 year warranties so you should be able to find a used one under factory warranty still at a reasonable price

I have this sitting in my bone yard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824001068 id give it to you if you lived anyware near STL ,,i would save my $$ for a gaming LCD,,had LCD next to monitor, the difference is night and day,1 vote for waste of $$

I have two ViewSonic a90fs (19") (one on my system and on eon my sons's). They are great and can be had on sale for around $150.
