Minnesota passes Biodiesel law!!

Wed Sep 28, 2005 11:42 pm

Kudos to Minnesota for taking a major step toward the future:

They're requiring that all diesel sold be at least partly made of biodiesel.
I'm impressed as hell, any Minnesotoans should be proud as hell right now. That's leadership, that's taking some initiative!

Is Jesse Ventura still the governor there?

I dont change anything, America is still gonna doom us all unless Bush admits global warming is happening and doessomething about it, even if the rest of world halfs its emission output by 2020 were still be screwed because of Bushes stupidity.

This guy in Kent (an english county, like a state) has discovered this crop which produces an oil which u can run your car on just as efficently, with no poisonous emissions, what makes it better is that it will cost 85p a litre (you do the exchange into $) thats 15p cheaper then petrol now, its pricewill be more stable, and you dont have to modify your car at all to run on it, its win win win.

It's a step. Bush won't be office forever, and remember, in the US the states have the ability to set standards as well. If all 50 states did this, then nationwide we would have biodiesel available at every single gas station.
It a step and the first few steps are always the hardest. Rather than be pessimistic, let's be positive about Minnesota's actions, and hope that other states will follow suit.

It's President Bush's fault for global warming? Global warming began at the start of Bush's term then, 7 years ago?
:D
That is funny. Please keep your party line comments to the now banned political forum. Oh, and while you are at it, find out the facts. Thank you.

Let's just focus on the positive.
Again, way to go Minnesota!

Just one last thing in that case, i said it wont be stopped because of Bush, not that he caused it.

People are bit touchy lately Alowar, we pretty much have to walk on eggshells here (not sure if that is a saying in England),umm, we have to tread lightly is another way of putting it. I know what you were saying though. :)

POLITICAL THREAD. LAUNCH PROTON TORPODOES

sorry alofwar, maybe i flew off the handle a bit. i am very patriotic and get defensive when people bash our president. my apologies.
Our president now admits there is a problem with industry related to global warming. his administration just feels the kyoto protocol will hurt the us economy and jobs. and is unfairly heavy against the us compared to what other countries are required.

The US is unfairly heavy when it comes to using resources therefore the Kyoto agreement is spot on, as they say.
