This is the one I use and I've got no complaints. Maybe you can find a cheaper one--Logitech generally makes good headsets and there are definitely cheaper ones by them.
Boyfriend (looking over my shoulder): No, tell him to get an Altec Lansing headset!

Boys are silly.

Boycott Walmart, they hate women.

So does BestBuy. I have the same ones except mine weren't USB. I bought them about 4 months ago for 25.00 or so.

I bought mine at OfficeMax in May. I don't remember how much they were there.

This is what I have. It's a decent headset, but I would probably by the Senniheiser as recommended by [SYN] Crazy above.

To be honest, I use a crappy and VERY basic Logitech headset that came free with the purchase of UT2004 (it's a LOT like the one that came free with BF2 preorders, except it has a longer cord and volume/mute controls). It sounds great and works wonderfully. But, if you want hifi, sure go with other suggestions, but I have no complaints about it.

I'm pretty sure it's this one: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=103,CONTENTID=6339

Sennheiser for the win. If you're looking for quality sound reproduction in a headset, you simply can't look anywhere else . Granted, they are more expensive than the others, but they are a true audio company, unlike the others. Personally, I use a pair of $150 Sennheiser HD570's and a Sennheiser noise reduction external microphone, but you don't have to spend that much to get their quality. They rock, hands down.
