This is actually a serious thread...whoa.
It's a documentary, about guns in America. It begins like this:
"It's another normal day in America, farmers are waking up to their fields, mothers are sending out their children to school, regular blue collars are going to work. And our president just bombed another country who's president's name we can't even pronounce, while last night another child was shot on the streets of America. Ah yes, it's another normal day in this great country."
It's nothing but the truth that this movie contains, it centered around the Columbine massacre, and the tragic events that followed afterwards. The director also even goes to Canada to find out about our laws on guns. We have 7 million gun owners in Canada out of 30 million ppl, yet our homicide rates are far far much lower than that of the US. More on that..
He even interviewed Charlton Heston to get his opinion on how a 6 year old boy found a gun in his uncle's house and took it to school and shot another 6 year old girl...Heston didn't even say anything, he just walked out on the interview. Even when the director showed the picture of the girl to him, Heston kept on walking, not even taking a d**n f**king look! To make it worst, Heston and his NRA compatriots (Heston is the President of the NRA btw) actually went to Columbine 10 days after the shooting and held a pro-gun rally! He did the God d**ned same thing a day after the girl was shot in Flint, Michigan! He even lied about not knowing what happened the day before when footage from the rally showed him talking about the girl!!!!!
There's so much more, you have to see all of this for yourself!
It's worth watching and I strongly suggest anyone with half a brain who gives a d**n about human lives to see it... (I just feel really strongly about the subject covered in this movie.)
If it's not playing at your local theatre, you can download the screener, really good quality. I have it ...
On a side note, it was funny how he was surprised about how our politicians makes sense about how to run a proper society..and even more so when he walked around downtown Toronto opening up ppl's houses and finding they're not locked because we Canadians feels safe.
Our unemployment rate is twice as high as the States yet we don't have ppl committing as many crimes as they do...... that's just a small comparison...the movie compared the States to Britain, Germany, Australia, Japan as well.
He interviewed a lot of ppl as to why Americans are so violent..they all say because they had a violent past...well the director replied by saying, "what about Germany? They slaughtered 12 million Jews just 60 years ago, Britain ruled the world for 300 years with a gun, Ghandi and his followers even drove them out without using a weapon." To which the guy being interviewed said, "I have never heard of him before.." And this guy was old! like 60 years old, like geez, don't they teach human rights in American schools
I saw it downtown at the theatres but downloaded the screener too so I could see it again.

For a really good laugh, download the history of America..I guarantee you it's hilarious as hell!
Hm, read the excerpts from the book Stupid White Men by Michael Moore on the website and you'll find out why Butane Lighters are not banned on air planes when toeclippers are..
He got in touch with someone who works on Parliament Hill and found out this: Because the d**n politicians bribed the Bush Administration of rednecks to keep it legal on planes so they can smoke right after they get off the d**n plane..d**n addicts.
But, why the hell is smoking banned on all airplanes and yet u can carry lighters with you on a plane at 30 000 feet in the air!?
