They believe it was probably accident, no one has even mentioned it could be a terrorist attack. It's an oil depot where alot of our oil supply is stored millions of barrels have already burned and more may still blow up. The fire is still burning and because the ash has started to fall people are being evacuated. The fire is so hot its buring up the pollutants so that limits environmental impact, but the sun is constantly half blocked out.

Actually, not true as the first thing I heard this morning (about 6:45am EST when I turned the TV on) was that they questioned whether or not it might have been terrorit activity. Today Show did the same thing.

Hopefully it isn't. I'm going to remain positive about it and think it's not until I hear otherwise.

That there in America, here were not that parinoid, and terroists aim to kill people and affect a nations morale, this hasnt done either, only a couple of people died in the blast. Unless when all that ash falls down it will kill people and the gov arent telling us o we don't panic.

Except that in the BBC article linked above, it says:

A police investigation into the incident has begun, including investigations by anti-terrorist police.

But, I will give you that it goes on to say:

But Chief Con Whiteley said there was "nothing to suggest anything other than an accident".

But without some sort of anti-terrorism investigation, no one will know, right? It's not necessarily paranoia so much as it is security. Nothing wrong with making absolute sure that it was an accident and nothing else... and the only way to do that is to think to yourself, "could this be a terrorist related incident?"

That's forensics, not anti-terrorism. It's too late for security when the thing is already burning. :)

Prices of steel and other materials went up for a bit, stormtrooper enrollment hit an all-time low, but worst of all was the the unbelievable hike in our insurance premium.
