Apple's site seems to be a bit horked up.
The idea of movie looks kind of neat, or at least unique. It's about (I guess) the fall of the Mayan empire. From what I've heard though, the movie's dialogue is entirely in same ancient form of Mayan language, the way Passion of the Christ was in aramaic, so it's subtitles for those of you that don't speak ancient Mayan. I ,of course, speak ancient Mayan , it was an elective at my High School.
I don't know if the movie is a piece of shite, I have no idea how good or bad Mel Gibson is as a movie maker, I never saw Passion of the Christ, I have no reference.
So all I can say is 'Gooney goo-goo, moogity moogity moo-moo'
If you spoke ancient Mayan, you would be pretty impressed with what I just said there.

True

No no, what he said was, 'Your mother is a llama and your sister is an orangatan' They didn't have e-penis back then so no concept for it.
Passion of the Christ was a decent movie. Lots of blood. I didn't see anything that shocking about it really. The Bible is quite graphic and if you take it litterally, there are many stories that could be told in the same manner. I mean graphic content-wise. It's sort of like reading about tarring and feathering someone in Huckleberry Finn. I never got it until I saw it in Deadwood. Put a whole new perspective on it but it was right there the whole time. The only thing that changed was my understanding of it.

Isn't that show called Twin Towers or something close to it? I'm hooked on Are you being served.

Fawlty towers. It's genius. I can't stand are you being served though.

Curious. Will have to learn more...
Passion was alright. Powerful, I guess, if you are a believer, but to me it was just brutal. Anyway, we talked a lot about this last year.
Braveheart was good, if not historical, it was a good a movie.
What will be interesting to me is how many modern themes are injected into the story... Both Passion and Braveheart went to great ends to be historical, and yet threw in some rather large, very unhistorical (or unbibilical) elements (ie kilts in that era, Wallace siring the next king, demon kids). Of course, like Disney's Pocahontas, most people don't know the Mayan's story, so Gibson is free to play fast-and-loose as much as he desires.

I beg to differ. I don't care for Faulty Towers at all. It's pretty much a spin off of Monty Python....Boring. I have to atleast watch Are you being served before bed.

He was a good actor at one time but it seems like old age and being in the celebrity limelight for so long is starting to affect his mind, just look at Tom Cruise.
