Eventual Plans:

4 x 36GB WD Raptors in RAID5

everyone is getting new systems but me :( good idea with the video card, the 7800 rocks, wait till the price drops and sli it and you save the price of buying a new vid card

I would be interested to know what it scores on 3dmark06. Have you benchmarked it yet?
I ask because I built a similar rig, and it benchmarked with the following...

That is a 4u case but it comes standard as a tower and rails sold seperately.


Nice case, but you have to be careful where you put it because its much deeper than a regular desktop case.


I have built many servers in that exact same case except it was the SCSI version.

Mortimer it's asking me to log-in to view your link. I'll put a pic and the rest of the specs up for my pc when it comes in the mail monday. I got one similar to Evans, same video card basically, except I have Dual Core 4400+ 64-Bit, but only 1GB of DDR400 memory.
