Two different robotics project, both of them give me the creeps a little. They are still crude and impractical, but we've all seen how technology often get's refined at a rapid rate. Things shrink to to half the size/weight, become twice as fast or efficient in a matter of a few years. Who know where these two projects will be in a few years.
BTW, the robotic mule carries 120+ lbs.
