Due to the refineries moving to ethanol additive and our president wanting to go to war with every oil producing nation, I suspect prices will go higher this summer than they were after Katrina.

i hope not.i would hate to have to get rid of my trusty 94 ford ranger. my big ass would not fit in a hybrid too good.

Your gonna have to get a smaller ass willy, such massive cars will become too expensive too run with rising oil prices at this rate. Cars that can do 0-80 in seconds (gallons that is) will be impossible to use.

The body of my car may be rusting to pieces and I may make a car payment in repairs a few times a year, but my '89 Honda Accord with 239000 miles on it still gets 36mpg average :P

Makes me wanna kick president bush in the balls and say stop invading oil rich countries and pissing them off and fix it dummy.

If you had a better understanding of the market, China is more of an impact then invading Iraq, and disciplining Iran.

Mon Apr 24, 2006 10:38 pm

Yeah but their increased demand on oil products hasn't suddenly jumped the price of crude almost 20 bucks in the last 4 months. Yeah south east asia and china is quickly becoming the economic superpower behind the US but Bush sure ain't helping. I don't want to Hi-jack this into a economic and political thread though ;)
