whew.. don't get me started on patching Tribes 2! I'm not sure what the latest patch is, but I may have it. In fact I may have them all. I keep all my old patches. You may never know when you might want to play your games again.

I'll have too look for it and I'm busy right now. Send me a PM to remind me and I'll look for it.

Agreed, Mugzy.

Though, I had heard somewhere that Tribes2 does not play well with any of the current video drivers and that in order to play it, you need to install some legacy video drivers. Can anyone verify that? I'd love to tool around in it again.

It appears that Tribes 2 is now a free download. (Apparently with the release of Tribes 3: Vengence).

You may still need a key and there may be problems with video drivers.... I am still researching the problem.

isnt Tribes 1 free? Not 2?

I don't know about 1, but Tribes 2 is definetly FREE! Just do a search.. you'll see. :)

In an effort to increase interest in the upcoming sequel, Sierra released both the original Starsiege: Tribes and Tribes 2 for free download on May 4, 2004. Sierra is now no longer offering Tribes 2 keys. The installer is downloadable, but keys needed for online play were only distributed for a limited time.
