Honestly, I haven't kept up at all with video cards. ATI or nVidia, I don't care, but want to keep it at $250 or less .

For about $300 the ATI X1900XT is hard to beat. I didn't realize it, but apparently this card has recently dropped significantly in price (according to the second link).
