makes you believe in the one scientists theory that the earth is really like 100 billion years old, we evolve, inhabit the earth, use all the resources, kill each other, then we all die...

A couple 100 million years go by, everything breaks down and decomposes, then it starts all over again. That was the 10 second version of his theory
