silly question regarding airports

Mon Jan 22, 2007 12:54 pm

I assume I can bring my laptop on the plane with me, correct? It will be in a laptop bag with a power adapter.

Another dumb question, doesn't the x-ray machine screw with the hard drive on the laptop?

Yep you can bring a laptop on the plane. You just have to take it out of the case. Everything else can stay. I couldn't say about the x-ray screwing w/ the hard drives. My still works. Been through a lot of x-ray machines.

Just the laptop. I hate to say it, if you are white and don't look suspicious they'll barely look at you or the laptop. If they have any worries they will just make you power it up.

They might have you turn it on to make sure it's really a laptop.

Oh and get rid of any illegal stuff. Some guys went to jail for that. The videos with the goats will have to go.

yeah just the laptop itself, I never have had to turn it on either....
