It’s official – women who play video games have sex more often!

What does Mrs. Buli have to say to that?

Baah, the scientist in me balks at the so-called survey performed.

Small sample size (only 200), all from the same geographic area, and a survey performed by a company that has a glaring conflict of interest in the results. Pfffft.

I mean, do you really think a game rental company would publish results saying, "Rent games, have less sex." Suuure they would.

Read on for the rest of the oh-so-scientific study.

Yeeeah...right. Scientific my ass. Obviously they have at most an elementary understanding of experimental design, statistics, and data collection.

Haha, I love it!

I don't know, it's true the study reeks of bias, but then again I could see where gaming girls have an advantage over non-gaming girls.
I would venture that a majority of guys under 30 play games. A girl who play games has an advantage (all other things being equal) over a non-gamer when it comes to that first meeting, IMHO. I can only guess, but I think most guys consider a girl who games to be cooler and more relatable than a girl who complains that video games are stupid.

Well, I'm not so sure. Let's picture a scenario based on your statement:
Two twin girls, both smoking hot, gorgeous, beautiful girls (i.e. "all other things being equal"). The only difference is that one plays video games, and the other doesn't.

Gamer Twin meets you Friday night and is all over you. Being the macho man you are, you take her home and have sex. Saturday night, you meet her equally hot twin. She wants you, but since she doesn't play video games, you turn her down.

Doesn't seem to make sense (to me).

I would venture to guess that the typical under 30 year old male gamer would have sex with damn near any girl who offered it to him. I don't think he would care if she were a gamer or not...he would just be thanking his lucky charms that he is actually going to get laid!

But does she really need an advantage?

----Sorry if it seems like I am picking on you, cavalierlwt - I'm not. I just really enjoy debate! :D

That was ridiculous. The addition of twins into the argument held no relevance. The gaming girl has the advantage over the non-gamer (in my theory) and an advantage is an advantage, and as such would work it's way out in a statistical study.
