If I want to upgrade the RAM (from 1GB DDR ), to say (2GB DDR) is it really just a simple procedure of fitting it in or getting it fit in... or is it a job full of setbacks and problems????!!! Please anyone reply!!Or should I think of DDR2 instead (IM STUCK)?!?

How many sticks do you currently have that make up you 1GB? 1GB stick or (2)512MB?
How many slots are available?
Know how many pins you got.
Know the speed
Buy the same!
