Citizenship for "Mohammed"

Wed Apr 09, 2003 12:39 pm

The Iraqi civilian who saved POW Jessica Lynch is a shining example of why our forces are there. There is a petition going around on the internet to grant this man US citizenship if he so desires it.

Honor, Bravery, Courage -- he has shown these qualities more than many Americans. He deserves our gratitude.

While it's a nice gesture, aren't these online petitions ultimately useless?

Probably....

I'm sure it's symbolic, if anything.

Yeah, I just heard something about that very recently. He should get a freakin' medal, too.

Hell yes, he first snuck out to tell the Americans about Lynch, then came back in, got a helluva lot of intelligence on guards, their rotations, their numbers, weaponry, who and such, what time they ate, sleep...damn...a lot of intel. Made maps with his wife, brought it to the Americans who plan a all out rescue op around it...

Amazing.

What the CIA trains a recruit for years, this guy did without any knowledge of it...
