What do you do for a living?

I know Buli and RC work in the tech industry(programmers?) Ralph is a lawyer, I think(What's the difference between a dead lawyer in the road and a dead snake in the road? There are skid marks in front of the snake...)
So what does everyone do? Feel free to include hobbies and pics and such (not too graphic for the kiddos, Doom...
)
I'll start things off...
I work for my family. We have a small airport. I did the company website, I work with MS access a lot, I order parts/inventory, and can be involved in the occasional construction project and am a fair welder. I don't know what that job would be called, but that's what it is.

Currently an animator working on a feature. I might get out of the business though because it's so unstable and I'd like to do something more down to earth and physical.
I had already completed a two semesters in Zoology before I switched to animation, so I might pursue that....

I have a little time and have soloed but I don't have my license. I was big into it when I was younger, but I don't really have the time or inclination anymore... I've been around planes my whole life, so they don't hold much fascination for me... except like cars and stuff, I follow the latest tech as well as I can... but General Aviation is a nearly dead industry... which may make a comeback if the airlines keep shooting themselves in the foot...
Bingham, so I wasn't far off with that lucasfilm crack, eh? Your stuff is top notch by the way, from what I've seen. I would think the (movie I assume?) business would be goin good about now...

The business of it all is good, but for animators like myself, work is extremely hard to come by right now.
Most animators would consider themselves lucky to work for the same company for more than two years. The vast majority though have to move every year to go where the work is. I've done this myself for around 5 years now, and I'm sick of it. At this point I could really care less what I do, I'd just like some security in my job life. It's nice to know you have a job for the forseeable future rather than going in to work every day wondering if the company is going to fold or halt production and then you have to move across the country, yet again, to work.

Rule got me right.

I work for a pretty big telecom company ( IDT) currently working in the "anti-fraud" dept. it sounds so much more exciting then it is. I'm trying to get moved to the IT dept. aka CNS (corp network services).

For the last 15 years (and the next two days....after that????)
I am or have been a Mainframe Project Manager, Project Lead, System Designer and Programmer Analyst for Large Aerospace, Financial and Transportation companies. For the most part, using COBOL as the main language with IMS and DB2 as the main database access methods. Currently, I'm completing a 1 1/2 year stay at Fedex as a contract Project Lead/PA for the Intl Accounts Receivable systems.
Funny thing is, I'm leaving them as of Friday May 30th....moving to Phoenix to try to figure out what to do next. I've had enough of the computer world I've been in. I think it's time to do something else, before I get too old.
