These types should be extradited to Saudi Arabia, where - despite their faults elsewhere- know how to punish people like this properly...
Castration, public beheadings... these would be good deterrents... especially if the losing lawyer got to share the punishment

Just read in the paper today that some handyman from New York had kidnapped women and children from as long ago as 1988 and was keeping them in an underground bunker in his backyard and using them as sex-slaves.
And up here in Canada, the police and RCMP are investigating a man named Robert Pickton who is believed to have killed upwards of 30 prostitutes over the last decade. Could turn out to be the biggest serial-killer case in Canada when it's finished. Scary thing is I've met the dude before. He was rather popular in his community because he was a typical "good ol' boy", if a little slow in the head. He also used to throw really awesome backyard barbecues that invited hundreds of people, including local politicians. There was also an unspoken knowledge that he used to steal cars, strip the parts and sell them to locals for low prices, and then bury the cars on his acres of farmland. It seems now the police have found that he was putting the prostitutes bodies into the cars when he burried them.
