How do you disable auto insert notification under XP pro?

My computer, select the CD Drive, right click, properties.

Properties isn't an option under XP. I think there was a reg hack but I can't remember it.

Go to the autoplay tab in properties. Is that what you want to know?

I see no autoplay option under the properties window for my optical drives.

Ok try this;

Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\
Services\Cdrom\

Change autorun to 0

or go here get tweak ui, auto play option is in there with many other nifty options, also get Image Resizer very simple and easy to use
