Star Wars trilogy to DVD Sept 21?

Sat Feb 07, 2004 2:42 am

On top of the big news that an announcement from Lucasfilm is expected next Tuesday saying that the Classic Trilogy will come to DVD on September 21 in a four-disk set, there's also new updates about Star Wars: Episode III today.

it is NOT going to be the old star wars you remember. Lucas stated many times it is going to be special edition up the wazoo. new scenes, music etc

With all guns replaced with walkie-talkies?

Another reason for the movie and music industry to get us to spend our money on the same damn things over and over again. After this set he'll package it in HDTV DVD and then the other movies and extra scenes and then in THX ver5 and so on and so on.

Bah

No such thing as HD(TV) DVD, mainly because the board overseeing DVD technology is seriously f'ing up right now.

Many DVD players offer upconversion of video to HD resolutions(1080i).

Sorry, I am very big into home theater and home stereo. I REALLY want this cd-player: http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?dgtlplay&1081276037

Never buy BOSE, and 99% of the products sold at mass retailers!!!!!

On SW, I will get it. Sadly the franchise is crap now, and went down hill with Return of the Jedi(the first time it went from more of an adult movie that kids can enjoy to a childrens movie that adults can stand to watch).
