R.I.P. Generic PSU (2000 - 2004)

My power supply died today. After a long time of blinking polygons in Battlefield and constant flickers in power (I heard my computer click off for a split second and come back on. I thought nothing of it), I switched it off in the back this morning. I tried to turn it back on and lo and behold - no red power-indicating LED on my motherboard (I have no side panel right now)

Anyway, after securing all connections, switching power cords, and using a different outlet, and plugging only the hard drive, it still won't power on. Diagnosis - PSU.

I'm going to take it to a local computer shop tomorrow and see if they will let me try a power supply in my computer - just to be sure of my hypothesis before I buy a $50 power supply.

Anyway, R.I.P.
