Guys -
You know anyone in the VA area that would be interested in a web engineer position?
It would require evenings/weekend work, swing shifts, etc.
Must be good with linux and FreeBSD from simple installations to troubleshooting broken systems, etc.
This would be a contractors job/1099.
If you know anyone or are local (no relocation avail.) and are interested in the job, please PM me for more info.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT related to ECGN
Thanks,
Jon

This is the attitude I found in the tech world and why I left. I'm not trying to cause any strife by replying I just find it funny how many people find that being overworked is like some type of cross that they are proud to carry.
Like I want to stay and debug code instead of going home for dinner and a movie with the family. This countries priorities are bass ackwards and it shows in many ways.
The trip I made to London and Scotland consisted of roughly seventeen hour days and when I got back I was asked why more wasn't accomplished. Need less to say I found other work and I type this from my office.
Trust me in the end being overworked and missing out on getting out is nothing to be proud of, or to strive to achieve.
my two cents.
