Per the original e-mail, it's France, Germany, and Russia.

The top one is the USA ;).

They didn't even provide moral support - let alone send troops.

Not sure what support you (Jeffro) thought they gave....

I don't know that there is a proper orientation. Think of it as looking at the back of a real flag as it waves in the breeze. Perhaps there is a proper orientation when it's applied as a patch on a uniform. Anyone know?

Yes, it is correct. Saw it on an episode of Mail Call. If I remember correctly, they explained that it was so no matter which direction the soldier was facing, the flag would always be going in the same direction, so that it "wouldn't look like we were running away".

Lol... Thats stupid... They arent obligated to help us if we want to dick around in Iraq...

Tue May 04, 2004 2:51 pm

I never said they DID support us, I just thought they were neutral on the subject.

No, every country's ass the US has saved has pretty much gone cold turkey on Iraq. Plus France and Germany have almost no militaries so it's not like they could have done anything in Iraq.
