An assault charge against the 55-year-old exercise guru has been dropped. He had been accused of slapping a 6-foot 2-inch, 250-pound ultimate cage fighter, allegedly in retaliation for a sarcastic remark.

The cage fighter later agreed to drop the charge.

This is the part I liked best.

If Richard Simmons is going to slap a cage fighter, he should darn well BRING THE PAIN !
Otherwise kudo's to Simmons for standing (somewhat) tall while under threat of sudden messy death. What a spunky little guy.
I can see his head weaving from side to side in a "i'm nobody's bitch" display as his hobbit like hand smacks loudly on the smirking cage fighters stunned face....
All I can say is...wow.
