Looks like the family will have a legitimate suit against the cartridge manufacturer. If that's where the fault lies, hopefully the paintball field won't get sucked into the suit, too.

Yeah, they do have a case - but CO2 canisters are used for WAY more than just paintball, so I doubt your latter concern will come to fruition. Then again, this is America...
