New case, mobo and processor - need advice, opinions...

You should check out Maximum PC. Great mag that is in favor of power, no matter who makes it. They really like gtames as well so I have found their reviews to be pretty helpful. Online they list the top product they have reviewed for each category, but you have to buy the mag to get the most out of it.

here is the mobo that i just got from newegg after a lot of research... has better ratings than many Abit and Asus similar boards

It can attach ATA Raid, SATA,
It has two Lan/ethernet inputs for lanparties
It has simple things like power on/off switch on the MOBO so you cantest.
Multiple Bios settings you can save.. to start up in "gaming mode" (maybe overclocked) or "safe mode" (no overclocking) for example
I added a Barton 2500 and 1024 3200 ram and I am smoken
In RvS (a notorious system whore) I am getting 140-160 fps average.. with a 9700 pro
