Radeon X800s and GeForce 6800s
from Anandtech:
"Recently we received confirmation that the first retail samples of ATI's R420 (AGP Radeon X800) will debut April 26 as Radeon X800 Pro. NVIDIA's NV40 (GeForce 6800) officially launches April 13th, but retail availability will occur around April 26th. Notice the NV40 product to be released April 13th is GeForce 6800, not GeForceFX 6800. ATI's naming scheme for R420 has been closely guarded as well, but the open term we hear from vendors is "Radeon X800."

so what does this all mean little boys and girls, smackers and Harry Canyon?
The endless cycle of next generation graphic cards are here, or very close to being here. This year we will see the biggest changes in computing history in the last 10 years, the form factor BTX, (the old form factor based on AT and its current form, ATX will be obsolete within 2 years) and PCI(Peripheral Connect Interface) Express... which nVidia and ATI's next generation video cards will be using from now on.
Soon to follow will be network cards, sound cards, anything you can think of in PCI-Express, both 1x and 16x PCI-Ex.
