Windows upsate

I have a problem with windows update the same update keeps popping up, I installed it like 5 times alread even uninstalled it once but it shows up every day. I rememer hearing something about corrupt patch installations but can't find anyway to fix it. so if anyone knows a solution let me know thanks

Had this problem. It's evil. If you're doing Windows Update via the Task Bar try doing it via menu where all your programs are. Sometimes it works for me.

turn off automatic updat and just manually check for updates every week or so (if you want).

The automatic udpates have a habit of popping up over and over again sometimes...my friend has this happen to him too.

Yeah, I don't trust automatic updates.

Personally, I've never had a problem with Windows Upsate.

yeah same prob, same popup. even if i go to update... it says checking then just sits there
