This is from a friend of mine:

I have an old jukebox, a Seaburg vl 200, That I have been looking for parts to restore for some time now. Well after realizing that it is going to cost me more than a new one to rebuid, I decided to mount a computer in it. I consulted my brother, a real life computer programmer, and he is designing the software for it. It will use the Itunes format and be able to select songs from a playlist and enter them into a que to play. If things go well you should be able to pick the songs with simple pictograms of Artist/album and make a list that will work like a real live jukebox. Only mine will have somewhaere in the neighborhood of 2,000 or so albums when completed.
With my electronics background I am going to interface the original coin slot and also some of the original buttons. this will be a nice feature keeping it close to original looking.
I have been looking for a project to do and this seems like fun. I will post some pics on my project as it goes. I have a few somewhere right after I got it. Right after the flood waters went down and most of the mud was washed out.
I also need some suggestions on speakers and a kick ass sound card to install in this project. I was looking at creative, but it seems turtle beach is rocking too.

ok so I have a few pictures of my project that I will share with you. First let me tell you that when I recieved this machine it was covered in dry mud. It was located in a bar near the Potomac river and was flooded in a huricane back in 96. I received it 3 years later and nothing had been done with it.
First pic is when I got it. I removed all the glass before transport. Just notice the mud caked inside and out. I did find the remains of a small fish also.

Ok here are some pics of the finished project. I still have to finish loading all the tunes, but it is coming along fine.
The pics you see in the front are all my friends and family. I put these here since I could not make a list or anything of all the songs. Thats where they would go normally. And yes The middle pic is my wife on a Trampoline with her best hottie girlfriend.
