Still, it's kind of stupid that the local police can't stop some drunken idiot in a bulldozer.

The wealthy and powerful use zoning as weapon against the 'little guy' all the time, then wonder why people go insane. I don't know all the details in this case, other than the guy had a zoning law dispute against a neighboring concrete plant go against him, I assume it caused his muffler shop to close..I don't really know.
It just seems like this kind of story pops up from time to time.

I blame it on the high-price of cigarrettes.

I'm currently armouring my dog-sled team and preparing to sled some carnage amongst the igloos.

Yeah, that's like those landgrab deals where a developer who can't get property owners to sell, promise more tax revenue to an area and the local government will take your property at a less than fair price.

Here's one such example:

That's a sad story Charlie. I am not suprised at all the unconstitutional and immoral things our gov't can and does do.
From what I understand about this bulldozer incident is that the other plant was granted zoning permission to build totally around his property, basically incircling (sp?) it because he would not sell at the price they were offering. I can see how things like this can drive someone mad crazy. You feel you are being wronged and there is nothing you can do.
Federal, state and local governments are only interested in creating revenue and cash cow programs to suck every dollar they can from the general public. From having to pay for registration fees and licenses for almost everything you own to excessive penaties regarding auto violations to double and triple taxation of your own money and inheritance, etc.
People just get mad when you F--- with them and they are generally law abiding citizens.

True. They pull and pull then wonder why it hurts when something (someone) snaps back.

Well by the looks of it, that being a small town the cement place generated more taxes and jobs for the city. SOOOO the city & local judge go in favor of the cement place putting this guy out of business or something else. After 3 years of it eating away at him he goes nuts.

IFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF this is the case the only thing i see that he did wrong was he didnt kill the bastards :)

OH YES I'm a HARDLINER. As for the story Charlie posted that poor guy. Me thinks those city officals should be shot too :)

I was playing with potato guns last night... went to a hillbilly party complete with gasonline fires lit via Roman Candles, fireworks off of beat-up pickup truck hoods, and ATVs and Dirtbikes.

Anyway... Buli is like our own personal Fark.
