I think if they were to make a remake, what do you think would be a good up-to-date cast (thinking that the director would keep true to the story). Maybe an indie film...
I think the new theme song should be Radiohead-Karma Police.

LOL.. 1984 isn't as bleek or depressing as some other movies/books I've read. You want depressing? Watch 'The Jimmy Show'. Thats about as depressing as it gets.

"Flag of our Fathers" is anther great WWII book.
"1984" was written during WWII still tons of references to it in modern literature and theatre.
