new comp...need help

Im thinking about building a new comp before i head back to college.....anyone got any ideas.....Ive got about 500 to blow on it....All i need is mobo, processor, video card and memory....I have everything else.......i was thinking radeon 9800 pro for 160......abit board for 60.....amd xp2800 for 90 and either 512mb ddr 400 or 1024....ideas anyone?

I just purchased a GA-7N400-L1
nForce2 Ultra400 chipset for 40 bucks...now what lol

Only order from http://www.newegg.com they are usually right there with the best prices, offer free shipping on a regular basis, and their return policy/customer service is outstanding.

That price for a 9800 pro is real good, and fishy. I know that Saphire was selling 2 versions of the 9800pro, one was cheaper and they had knopcked it from 256 bit to 128, which is a HUGE performance loss.

well it wasnt a sapphire...it was being sold on ebay...i think it was gigacube
I bought a gig of pc3200 for 150 bucks and bought an amd xp 2800 cpu for 100.

I bought a HIS 9800 pro for 180 dollars...its the 256bit version.
It cost me 470 for those parts...not too bad i guess..
